Becci is a distinguished and innovative music business executive based in the UK whose career spans over two decades. Her extensive experience encompasses diverse areas such as partnerships, programme development, communications, and export. Renowned for her compassion and respected for their visionary leadership, Becci has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing equity in the music industry.
Becci is passionate about helping others develop sustainable international careers through connection and partnerships. Becci was part of the core team which delivered WOMEX ’13 in Cardiff, for 7 years led Wales’ international showcase and trade presence, and has spoken at international events such as SXSW, MUTEK, The Great Escape and MENT. She ideated and in 2024 successfully launched UK Sounds, a national umbrella export brand to highlight various stakeholders and boost UK music’s visibility and presence. She was as a mentor for SEWEM (Sino-European Women Entrepreneurs in Music), a networking and mentoring programme funded by the European Commission. This initiative promotes the skills of European and Chinese women in the music and export sectors, supporting equality and fostering cross-cultural collaboration and in 2024 was elected to the board of the strategic European network of export offices, European Music Exporters Exchange (EMEE).
