Po’ Metra Crijeva is a Ča-Metal™ band. A six-member group that draws inspiration from Istrian legends, myths and stories, and makes music under the influence of Istrian scale and metal. The band’s sound, along with polyphonic singing, fierce guitars and drums, is dominated by the sopila – a traditional Croatian coastal woodwind instrument whose playing “through thick and thin” is part of the protected UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage. After the video for Čižićka Rapsodija in September 2022, and the video for the song Prokjeti Pust in February 2023, the album Boškarin IV was released in the spring of the same year for Pula’s No Profit Recordings. Catch them all over Croatia and the region in 2024.
