Great stories: A Journey through Superval, Špil Liga, and Veliki Odmor

What started as a simple email from the class teacher inquiring about discounted tickets for a concert has turned into a fantastic story that has been covered by the media not only in Croatia but also much further. It reveals the boundless enthusiasm and love of teacher Ana Bajo towards the desire to introduce and foster a love for quality music among children. Špil Liga, a competition that puts the spotlight on student bands and singer-songwriters, has always focused on the youngest participants, mostly high school students eager for performing and the thrill of being on stage, as well as the attention that an event like this surely generates. Veliki odmor is a program designed for high school students with the aim of involving young people in the development of independent culture programs with the help of the AKC Attack! organization. The program consists of educational sessions on cultural production, where students are taken through the basic stages of organizing cultural events using concrete examples such as concerts and exhibitions. These sessions involve short lectures and predominantly hands-on practical work to familiarize students with the fundamentals of event organization.

Ono što je započelo kao jednostavan e-mail nastavnice upitom o povoljnim ulaznicama za koncert, pretvorilo se u fantastičnu priču koja je privukla pažnju medija ne samo u Hrvatskoj, već i puno dalje. Otkriva beskrajni entuzijazam i ljubav nastavnice Ane Bajo prema želji da djecu upozna s kvalitetnom glazbom i potakne njihovu ljubav prema istoj. Špil liga, natjecanje koje stavlja u fokus studentske bendove i kantautore, uvijek je naglašavalo najmlađe sudionike, većinom srednjoškolce željne nastupa i uzbuđenja zbog stajanja na pozornici, kao i pažnje koju događaj poput ovog svakako generira. Veliki odmor je program namijenjen srednjoškolcima s ciljem uključivanja mladih u razvoj neovisnih kulturnih programa uz pomoć organizacije AKC Attack!. Program se sastoji od edukativnih sesija o kulturnoj produkciji, gdje se studenti vode kroz osnovne faze organizacije kulturnih događanja koristeći konkretne primjere poput koncerata i izložbi. Ove sesije uključuju kratka predavanja i pretežno praktičan rad kako bi se studenti upoznali s osnovama organizacije događanja.
