Ana Škarica – Lešić (Head of Legal, Dancing Bear Group / Warner Music Group Licensee) graduated from the Faculty of Law / University of Zagreb and is currently (for some time now J) finishing her final paper for the interdisciplinary postgraduate specialist studies of intellectual property at the University of Zagreb. Due her father being in the music industry, Ana has always been into this business of music J, so she worked in the music publishing department during her studies. After graduation, she moved to Korčula Island and worked in the family business unrelated to the music industry. In 2007, she was back in her hometown of Zagreb, working in Dancing Bear (label) and since 2008, she has been the head of publishing and licensing at Dancing Bear Publishing Ltd., one of the leading publishing companies in the region, which, in addition to the domestic catalogue, also represents Warner/Chappell Music, Wise Music, Schubert Music Publishing, and others. As of 2022, Ana is the head of legal at Dancing Bear Group, Warner Music Group licensee for Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Albania. In 2020, she was appointed president of the music publishing committee of HDU (Croatian IFPI). From June 2024, she participated in the work of the Assembly of Representatives of the Croatian Composers’ Society as a representative of Dancing Bear Publishing.
