čuvarkuća started as a solo project by Hrvoje Dešić in 2021 and gradually grew into a recognisable indie rock quartet, with Šimun Padovan pounding the drums, Igor Dešić ripping the bass, and Tin Ringsmuth adding secret ingredients in the form of saxophone and electronics. Their music dances on the edge of psychedelia and lo-fi, and tells stories in their native language — complete with diacritics, emotions, falsettos, and all those other “unwanted” things. Over the past four years, they have released the album Curino cvijeće, travelled the region from Graz to Kotor, and left their mark on the scene. At the moment, they are watering their succulents and diligently preparing their next full-length release.
