The broken, garage rock band DJECA! is made up of two noise and vibration addicts. At the core of DJECA!’s sound lies an untamed fusion of bass and drums, blended with ambient, dark, and distorted guitars, and fierce yet melodic vocals — together delivering an unforgettable out-of-body experience. From a young age, they tested the load-bearing limits of New Zagreb garage walls with sonic explosions, fertile ground for the maturation of their sound.
After overcoming every obstacle in their path, they began realizing their three-year musical vision in early 2022, introducing their fierce sound with the singles “Ti imaš sve” and “Seljačka buna.” Their debut album Kad čuješ ovaj zvuk (When You Hear This Sound) was released on November 11. The band describes it as mostly wild, at times inspired by gritty hip-hop grooves, featuring one dangerously catchy “disco-synth-love” track “Želim s tobom sve,” created in collaboration with Anja Papa and Luka Vidović of the sister band pocket palma.
