Stain is a post-teenage rock band born in Italy in 2016, driven by the idea of representing those small things which would permanently change their lives, as bored teenagers trying to escape the context of their hometown, where music is not a priority. Started as a freetime activity during high school, N.i.c.h.o., Dario Ladisa, Francesco Lagioia and Michele Tangorra, now are going to release their 3rd album after the Italian tour (30 gigs) of the debut LP “Zeus” (2018), which they brought on the stages of Medimex, SIM Sao Paolo and the huge Italian contest “Tour music fest”, which they won in 2017. In 2021, Stain presented their new album ‘Kindergarten’ produced through lockdown periods in their bedrooms and rehearsal room-like garage, and eventually recorded it in a pro studio: a fully working 30s kindergarten in the depths of Southern Italy. This work represents their new approach to composition, characterised by a childish attitude, where they instinctively played with their instruments. ‘Kindergarten’ is the place where the band had fun after a lockdown period in a never-before-experienced dimension. This last work is followed by an Italian tour (20 gigs), even performed at the Sziget Festival in August 2022. Nowadays, the band is working on the second part of ‘Kindergarten,’ which was released in February 2023, and a European Tour will follow.
