The highly talented Slovenian singer, visual artist, DIY master, and innovative TikTok creator Zevin is considered one of the most unique representatives of contemporary pop in the Balkans. Since her single NJAM NJAM resonated throughout the region, she has gradually shaped her vision of playful and sharp-witted pop that looks toward the future. In her own words, she is a “Bubblegum” artist.
In 2024, she released an EP titled Egzistencija, delving into themes of the future and the artist’s duality, as she reflects on what lies ahead. The five accompanying music videos were written and shot as a short film. The hyperpop single Side Eye is her most successful release to date, enhanced by innovative creative content. She shares that it has connected many young, like-minded individuals. In synergy with producer Dvided21, who crafts powerful instrumentals, they draw inspiration from various trending aesthetics, including trap, house, and hyperpop. Zevin enhances her unconventional hits—built on modern soundscapes and autotuned vocals—with exceptionally clever Serbo-Croatian lyrics, infused with humor and self-irony.
