Beach Bum is a female-fronted punk rock and alt-rock trio influenced by nineties bands like Dinosaur Jr. and The Smashing Pumpkins. Their sound is defined by a thick drop D guitar tuning and fast bursts of energy combined with personal lyrics about relationships and the contemporary world. Having played numerous concerts across Central Europe with thousands of kilometers spent on the road, the band ignores current trends in favor of the music they grew up with. For three people from a landlocked country, escaping into a world of beaches and surfing serves as a natural coping mechanism within their high-energy alternative sound and raw live delivery.
