HéT HAT CLUB

Hét Hat Club is a Budapest-based international collective of musicians dedicated to acoustic and electric traditional and contemporary cultures. Digging into the rich sounds of Balkan, Romanian, Hungarian, Gypsy, Turkish, and Transylvanian traditional folk music, they blend global heritage with modern hip hop and Afro culture. Active for the past ten years, they moved from the streets to the festival stages delivering their unique musical style—coined as gyp-hop, maneleton, and turbo folk jazz—expertly reimagining former traditional styles with the approach of modern electronic music in an acoustic way.
