Sūn Byrd is a seven-piece collective bringing a fresh take on modern soul, rooted in the popular music of the 60s and 70s. Since their 2024 self-titled debut—which saw the single Half the Truth reach over 100,000 streams—the band has established a reputation, performing over 200 shows across Oslo. Operating as a creative democracy where all members contribute songs and musical ideas, the group delivers a sound defined by rich vocal harmonies and a distinct personality. The band is currently writing and recording two new albums in Norway and Italy, further shaping their collaborative approach to the genre.
