NEWSLETTER TRACKING
EMAIL TRACKING & ANALYTICS
When you receive newsletters from us, we use tracking technologies to collect aggregate, anonymized analytics. This helps us understand how our newsletters are performing and improve our content.
WHAT WE TRACK:
- → Email Delivery: Whether emails were successfully delivered
- → Email Opens: Aggregate count of how many times newsletters were opened (using a tracking pixel)
- → Link Clicks: Aggregate count of which links were clicked and how many times
- → Bounces & Unsubscribes: Aggregate count of bounced emails and unsubscribes
PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION:
- → No Personal Information: We only collect aggregate, anonymized statistics. We do not track which specific individuals opened emails or clicked links.
- → Hashed Email Addresses: Email addresses are stored using SHA-256 hashing for privacy protection.
- → IP Addresses: IP addresses may be collected for tracking purposes but are used only in aggregate form and are not linked to personal identities.
- → Purpose: Tracking data is used solely for improving newsletter content, delivery rates, and user experience. It is not used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.
How Tracking Works:
Our newsletters contain a small, invisible tracking pixel (1x1 image) that loads when you open the email. Links in newsletters are also tracked to count clicks. This is standard practice for email marketing analytics.
Opt-Out:
You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email. This will stop all future newsletters but will not affect your account or other communications.
