EMC Workshop: Green Beat (Registration Only)

Join us in at the Green Beat workshop, part of the SHIP Festival, for an in-depth exploration of the green transition in the music sector. It will take place on Thursday 11 September 2025, 9.30h – 16 h CEST, in Šibenik, Croatia. This workshop will focus on practical strategies for reducing your carbon footprint, implementing eco-friendly practices, and fostering eco-conscious behaviour among audiences and event participants. It will also address important issues like climate justice, specifically in relation to travel, and the responsibility of music organisations in promoting climate action. Additionally, it will provide insights into EU funding opportunities for the green transition in music.

The aim of the workshop is to inspire a change of mindset in the European music sector towards greater environmental responsibility. This workshop is open to EMC members, registered SHIP delegates, and everyone interested in greening their music practice and in making a sustainable impact.

Our expert and trainer Nika Brunet Milunovic, founder of Calm Nest Collective has deep insights in the sector as well as outstanding expertise related to the green transition. The workshop will take place at the Educational Campus St. John’s Fortress in Šibenik.
