Andrej Sevšek is a prominent Slovenian music promoter and cultural organiser, known for his influential roles in the festival circuit and the live music venue scene. Sevšek serves as the Assistant Director for the Music Programme at Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture in Ljubljana, where he is responsible for curating and producing a wide range of concerts and music events. His work helps maintain Kino Šiška’s reputation as a leading venue for contemporary music in Slovenia. He is the founder and promoter of Punk Rock Holiday, a renowned open-air punk festival held annually in Tolmin, Slovenia. Since its inception in 2011, the festival has gained international recognition for its unique “no barrier” policy and intimate artist-audience experience. Over the years, it has become one of Europe’s most respected punk festivals, attracting around 5,000 visitors yearly. Before joining Kino Šiška, he was a promoter and booker at Gala Hala, a well-known club in Ljubljana’s Metelkova cultural centre. With a career spanning over a decade, Sevšek plays a key role in shaping the Slovenian and broader European live music landscape.
