Ivana Dragila brings together a strong academic background and broad industry experience in the live music and creative sectors. She holds an M.A. in Musicology and German Language and Literature and a B.A. in Popular Music and Media. Her career began at Musikmarkt, a leading music business magazine, where she took on editorial responsibilities and eventually led the live entertainment department for over five years. In 2016, Ivana joined the event infrastructure provider eps, starting as an online marketer and later becoming Head of Marketing. In this role, she helped shape and implement international marketing strategies, playing a key part in raising the global profile of the eps group.
In 2024, she founded brainy concepts, a creative digital studio focused on marketing and branding solutions for the music and cultural industries. While marketing remains at the heart of the studio’s work, Ivana also offers project management services for festivals and events, supporting clients with strategic direction and hands-on coordination. She helps brands sharpen their identity through brainy concepts and connect with their audiences in meaningful, creative ways. Beyond her work at brainy concepts, Ivana remains active as a freelance journalist, moderator, and lecturer. She is Deputy Manager and instructor at the Detmold Young Students’ Institute at the Detmold Academy of Music, where she supports young musicians as they prepare for careers in the professional music world.
