Martina Vazdar is the recognisable voice of Zagreb’s Yammat FM radio, where she works as a music editor and DJ/Host. In love with the magic of radio as a medium, she has remained faithful to it since day one, believing in its ability to connect people, inform them and make their everyday lives more beautiful. She has an equal passion for music, although she does not create it herself, she curiously follows and enjoys selecting what others make in the program. Since 2015. she has hosted various show formats on Yammat – from the morning program to afternoon drive time music selections, and the goal is always the same – to introduce at least a little rhythm and cheerfulness into people’s everyday lives and present the listener with some new “intelligent” music or interesting stories hidden behind already well-known releases and performers. Her accumulated journalistic experience dictates that she provide listeners with more than just information and musical numbers, which is at the heart of Yammat’s mission – to be a radio for a different state of consciousness, to provide the listener with a different airwaves, meaningful, inclusive, and relevant.
