Michal Berezňák is the director of the cultural centre Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava. He previously worked as a production manager at dozens of concerts (Iron Maiden, Dianne Reeves, The Cinematic Orchestra, and more) and festivals (Pohoda festival, Grape festival, Uprising festival, Bratislava Jazz Days, and more). Besides being a promoter, Michal is one of the founders of the LALA Slovak Music Export NGO, a non-profit organisation aiming to create a concept of long-term support and presentation of the Slovak music scene abroad. He is also a co-founder and director of the SHARPE festival and conference, which is held in Bratislava with over 60 concerts on seven stages over the last weekend of April.
