FRANCINE GORMAN
Francine Gorman is a music industry consultant, curator, strategist, event producer and editor based in London, England. With a background in journalism, digital content curation, music export and project/event production, Francine has been the director of the consultancy company Bad Rituals Ltd since 2017 and has worked across various music industry and advocacy sectors, with clients including Festival Republic, Keychange, the Nordic Music Export, Deezer, and many more. Francine is the Conference Coordinator at The Great Escape Festival, the UK's largest music industry meeting. She is also the producer of the Soho Calling and International Festival Forum showcase events for the International Live Music Conference (ILMC), and staying true to her journalist roots, Francine is the editor of the annually published Touring Business Handbook, as well as a contributor to IQ Mag’s reports, including titles such as the Touring Entertainment Report and the Global Promoters Report. Having worked with the Nordic Music Export (NOMEX) for more than 10 years, Francine has programmed and produced events, festivals and Trade Missions in London, Berlin, Los Angeles and Tokyo in the past, and frequently consults with export agencies and organisations around the world on internationalisation strategies for their projects.
