ROB VAN WEGEN

As a former festival producer, Rob has a very practical approach to sustainability. While working for 20 years in the festival industry, he has shifted completely to sustainability over the last years. In this time, Rob has worked at Innofest for 5 years, testing sustainable innovations at festivals. He has been the sustainability coordinator for ESNS (a.o.) over the last years. His focus was on making sustainability part of ESNS's DNA, launching and scaling programmes to help the event and music sectors become more sustainable.

Rob created a roadmap canvas to help festivals put their sustainable ambitions into an action plan for their future. He personally guided over 20 festivals on the roadmap. He is just finishing up his strategy canvas, helping organisations build a sustainability strategy. ESNS is part of the Green Deal Circular Festivals and the Green Operations Group by Yourope.
