TINEKE CODRON
Tineke started her career in music by writing gig reviews and interviewing artists for damusic.be. To be able to keep paying for her addiction to visiting concerts and festivals around Europe. She joined the Kokopelli World Music Festival in 2010 as a volunteer and later as a freelancer, focusing on communications, programming, production, funding, and global coordination.
After visiting Womex in 2017, she started her own company, Square1support.be, and has since worked as a production, project, and tour manager for several companies, bands etc. Currently focusing on administration, production and project management for Muziekcentrum de Bijloke, Greenhouse Talent and Wasted Talent as main partners.
She spends a few hours a week sharing her experiences with future event managers at Vives and mentoring newcomers in the music industry. As a former social worker, she is an advocate for world citizenship, mental health and equality in all her projects.
