WIECHER TROOST

Wiecher Troost is a programmer and cultural strategist, Head of Program at Amsterdam Dance Event and part of the ADE management team. Through the ADE Pro conference, Lab talent development platform, and Arts & Culture program, he shapes how international audiences engage with music, ideas, and community, bridging grassroots culture and the platforms that present it. Moving across music and urban culture, he develops programs and collaborations that connect scenes to wider audiences. He is particularly interested in contexts where culture leads and institutions follow, approaching relevance not as something to be imposed, but carefully understood and earned.
